Amazon Alexa App Receives Hindi Support

Punish says his team is working to make Hindi conversation more accessible and easier. In a press release, Amazon reported that since launching Hindi support last year, the company has introduced 60 new features. 20 new Hindi stories have been added to the voice assistant database with 6 new songs and poems from Alexa Origin. Indian users can now give Alexa commands like, “Alexa humming something …”, “Alexa cloud rap …”, “Alexa tells a cricket story …”, “Alexa tells a friendship story”. According to Amazon, Alexa has improved automatic speed recognition (ASR) by 40 percent and natural language understanding (NLU) by 30 percent in the last year. Apart from this, more than 1,000 Hindi skills have been added. Notably, Hindi support was first introduced to the Amazon Echo device in September of last year. At the same time, Hindi language support was introduced in the Alexa app on Android and iOS devices. To change the language in the app, you first need to go to Settings, then click on Alexa on this phone, and then on Language. Here you can choose the Hindi language from the available languages.
