Intel launched the Compute Stick mini PC in India. Variants of Windows 8.1 (Windows 8.1) of this device can be purchased from Flipkart e-commerce site for Rs 9,999. The company also released the second variant of the device, which is based on Ubuntu. However, there is no information available on the price and availability of this variant. In fact, the Intel Compute Stick is a mini computer that can be used by connecting to an HDMI port. His first look was seen at CES 2015. The Windows 8.1-based Intel Compute Stick features a quad-core Intel Atom processor, which is integrated with Intel HD Graphics. The device has 2 GB of RAM (RAM). The device comes with 32GB of built-in storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card.
Speaking of connectivity, the Intel Compute Stick features a USB 2.0 port, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n and Bluetooth 4.0. Connects to a television or monitor through its HDMI 1.4a port. The Linux version of the device matches the Windows version, but it has 8 GB of storage and 1 GB of RAM (RAM).
The Windows 8.1 version of the Intel Compute Stick is similar to the iBall Splendo PC on a Stick (iBall Splendo PC-on-a-Stick), which launched in June for Rs 8,999. Intel has also indicated during the launch of its product that Compute Stick will also be available through iBall in the future.
At the launch of the Intel Compute Stick, Rajiv Bhalla, director of sales and marketing for Intel South Asia, said: “This device takes computing to another level and strives to deliver a great computing experience through a small device. We are very excited to launch the device in India. ”
