MyGovIndia, a dedicated platform created for direct engagement with citizens of the Indian government, has created its official account on the popular Likee short video app aimed at empowering youth to deal with the Covid-19 crisis, i.e. the epidemic of coronavirus. Likee is a short video-sharing app developed by a Singapore-based company Bigo Technology Private Limited. This application is very popular and has a large number of youth affiliations. Taking advantage of this, he plans to inform the youth about Kovid-19. For this, the government released its ‘MyGovIndia’ profile on this short video platform. Likee was recently declared the sixth most downloaded application worldwide. On April 26, 2020, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s radio show ‘Mann Ki Baat’ was streamed live via ‘MyGovIndia’. . Millions of views were recorded on this live broadcast. This profile is also being used to encourage users to download the Arogya Setu mobile app. This app has been developed by the Government of India to track crown patients. Users have received a download link on Likee with the help of which they can easily download the Arogya Setu app from Google Play Store and App Store. #AarogyaSetu on Likee to ensure the app is downloaded more and more Get started This app has been designed in such a way that it will alert anyone to a patient who is positive for Kovid-19 around them. Laiki Influencers and other users have created a series of informative videos using this hashtag to convey messages to their fans and followers. So far more than 140 million visits have been registered in this hashtag. Popular Bollywood actors Isha Koppikar and Aamir Ali have also teamed up with Laiky to promote #AarogyaSetu. Both actors have inspired their fans to support this MyGovIndia initiative by creating exclusive live videos.
