Redmi Note 8, Redmi 8 and Redmi 8A Dual become expensive, meet new prices

Xiaomi has again increased the prices of its Redmi brand smartphones in India, due to the higher GST rate on smartphones in India. The company has increased the prices of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, Xiaomi Redmi 8 and Xiaomi Redmi 8A Dual smartphones by 500 rupees. These increased smartphone prices are available online on e-commerce websites like Flipkart, Amazon, and Mi.com. Selected Redmi smartphones are expected to be available at the new price in offline stores soon. All mobile phones, including smartphones, became expensive as of April 1 in India. In fact, the Government of India had announced an increase in the GST rate on mobile phones, previously it was applicable to the GST rate of 12 percent, which increased to 18 percent. Since then, all smartphone manufacturing companies had increased the prices of their smartphones. In this episode, Redmi has again increased the prices of its three smartphones, those are Redmi Note 8, Redmi 8 and Redmi 8A Dual. The prices of these smartphones have increased up to Rs 500. This is the new price of Redmi smartphones, the 4GB + 64GB storage variant of Redmi Note 8 is priced at Rs 11,999. Previously it was priced at Rs 11,499. At the same time, the price of its 6GB + 128GB variant has increased to Rs 14,499 with an increase of Rs 500, which was previously Rs 13,999. The price of Redmi 8’s 4GB + 64GB storage variants has increased by Rs 200, after which their new price has increased to Rs 9,499. If you talk about Redmi 8A Dual’s 2GB + 32GB storage model, it has also increased by Rs 200 only. The new price has been reduced to Rs 7,499, which was earlier Rs 7,299.
