Repeating the previous report, the new report also states that even if the multi-device feature is not ready yet, the ability to sync chats, other features like mute chat may be introduced soon for beta testers. The post has shared a screenshot where the WhatsApp desktop client shows how the chat history has been migrated from the user’s device to the computer. It also states that the process is end-to-end encrypted. It is speculated that this feature will be offered as paired devices, allowing users to run a WhatsApp account on four devices at the same time. In the previous report, WABetaInfo stated that WhatsApp has multiple device support process will require a Wi-Fi connection. Which will help transfer the data from one device to another. After sharing the data, the main device will not require Internet or Wi-Fi.
